Penton’s Radio Magazine Recognizes 15 Companies with Pick Hit Awards

NEW YORK (April 28, 2008) - Penton Media's Radio magazine, a leading source of information on radio technology, today announced the winners of this year's Pick Hit Awards, presented at the 2008 NAB Show. Each year, Radio magazine's Pick Hits panel selects the top 15 new products introduced at the convention. The Pick Hit Awards were first presented at the NAB Convention in 1985, making them the oldest technology award at the event. "The Pick Hit Awards are limited to just 15 winners, reflecting the value and prestige of the award," said Chriss Scherer, editor of Radio magazine.

Winners are selected by a panel of broadcast engineers from radio stations, radio networks and radio production facilities, and make their selections independently and anonymously, based on strict guidelines. Winning products must fit a recognized need in radio, be priced within reason, be available within the current calendar year and must have never before been exhibited at the NAB Convention.
