Penton’s PROMO Magazine Announces 2008 Interactive Marketing Award Winners

NEW YORK (May 5, 2008) - Penton Media's PROMO Magazine announced the winners of PROMO's 2008 Interactive Marketing Awards at a special luncheon ceremony at the 4th Annual Interactive Promotion Summit in Las Vegas. The Interactive Marketing Awards recognize the best and brightest in effective interactive marketing, as well as the valuable role that interactive tactics play in motivating consumer response and creating strong, exciting brands. Finalists and winners were recognized in eight categories. Burger King's "Simpsonize Me!" campaign, by Equity Marketing, took "Best in Show" honors as well as the award for "Best Promotional Web Site." Winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges and interactive experts from leading brands and agencies. The judges reviewed a record number of entries that increased 30 percent over last year.
