2/26/2007

NEW YORK (February 26, 2007) - Mobile Radio TechnologyTM magazine, a leading monthly publication for public safety professionals, mobile radio dealers and enterprise end users, today announced the launch of its newly redesigned Web site, www.MRTmag.com. The new site provides improved 'one-stop' organization of MRT's extensive content and offers users quick access to the tools and information needed to keep pace with evolving industry technologies and trends.

"The new MRTmag.com complements our print efforts by delivering a Web site that offers targeted content access and navigation," said Glenn Bischoff, editor of the magazine. "Organizing the site by key topics helps readers quickly find relevant information that is critical to their daily work as mobile radio professionals."

The new Web site has been designed around topic-specific categories, called 'one-stops,' which are prominently featured on the site's top navigation bar. The one-stops serve as landing pages focused on those key technologies, services and government topics that are most critical to first responders and those in the land mobile radio (LMR) arena. MRT's one-stop topics include mobile voice; mobile data; networks and systems; infrastructure; test and measurement; Project 25; rebanding; policy and law; and RFID.

"This industry is undergoing tremendous change, and MRT's new site gives our readers intuitive, easy-to-use tools to keep abreast of the new technologies and trends that are shaping the LMR industry," said Mark Hickey, group publisher. "From an advertiser perspective, the new design also allows marketers to more effectively target customers--providing an optimal environment for both readers and marketers."

The new Web site also expands the marketing opportunities for companies targeting first responders, mobile radio dealers, and end users. Online advertisers can now reach their target audience with premium, prominent banners positions as well as exclusive, targeted sponsorships of the one-stop categories.

MRT, a leading monthly publication for first responders, service providers, mobile radio dealers and enterprise end users, delivers in-depth coverage for the mobile radio industry. From emerging technologies to solutions deployed in the field, MRT provides industry insight and coverage of regulatory, technology and business developments. MRT reaches more than 31,000 qualified professionals every month.
