Mark has worked in the field of publishing and business research since 1996 including roles as an Advertising Manager at Future Publishing and other business-to-business publishing groups, Publisher at The Financial Times Group for Mergermarket, a mergers and acquisitions business information service, and Business Development Director at GfK NOP, a major international market research firm.
Mark is focused on business development and commercial opportunities for client firms to help expand their business and visibility to customers and provide increased revenues with a real return on investment. He has extensive international experience which is truly global covering markets across Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and USA.
Mark’s background particularly covers magazine and product launches, creating custom publishing, research and marketing solutions, and developing relationships with business clients to understand their unique needs and provide effective commercial solutions to better position them with their target audiences.
Mark joined Penton Media in September 2011 in the position of European Sales Manager for the Electronics division.
