Ad Production Coordinator

Position Description:
This position is responsible for a broad scope of production support services for core print publications, supplements and ancillary products. Primary responsibilities include advertising space order entry and management, acquiring and maintaining customer advertising materials, imposition of editorial and ad content in publication issues, electronic page positioning of full-page ads, and tracking overall production status to ensure that critical schedule deadlines are met. Position involves frequent and routine interaction with prepress, credit, circulation and marketing departments, as well as sales staff, advertisers, ad agencies, editorial staff, publishers and outside vendors.

Position Requirements:
Experience
Minimum one year experience in an office environment involving customer support functions and the use of business computing applications. Prior publishing or print production experience desirable.

Education

Bachelors degree or relevant work experience within a corporate, service-oriented environment is desirable.

Skills

Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and possess basic math skills along with proficiency in traditional office computing applications. Strong business communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer service mindset are essential. Knowledge of digital advertising media helpful. Candidate must be able to establish strong working relationships, recognize priorities and balance multiple projects in a deadline-critical environment.
